Professional Experience:

Elizabeth Schick is the founding attorney of Schick Legal Counsel, a dynamic practice in Baltimore specializing in family law, estate planning, and criminal defense.

Before becoming an attorney, Elizabeth served nearly seven years in the U.S. Navy, where she developed a strong sense of duty and discipline that she carries into her legal practice. Following her service, Elizabeth remains dedicated to advocating for servicemembers who have survived military sexual trauma and whistleblower retaliation through nonprofit work.

At Schick Legal Counsel, Elizabeth is dedicated to tailoring her legal services to meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring they feel empowered and supported throughout the legal process. Elizabeth believes in a personalized approach, understanding that each case represents a significant moment in her clients’ lives.

Elizabeth has a particular interest in working with nontraditional families throughout Baltimore and the wider Maryland community. Education:

Elizabeth Schick is an alumna of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, where she honed her legal acumen after completing a Master of Arts in Public Policy. Her educational journey began with an Associate of Arts in Arabic from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in Monterey, California, followed by a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Arizona State University.
